British Geophysical Association
The British Geophysical Association is a Joint Association of The Geological Society of London and The Royal Astronomical Society. The aims of the BGA are to promote the subject of geophysics, and particularly to strengthen the relationship between geology and geophysics in the U.K.

British Hydrological Society
The British Hydrological Society (BHS) was formed in 1983 in response to a recognised need for a new, broad-based national society for the advancement of hydrology. The Society caters for all those with an interest in the inter-disciplinary subject of hydrology, and aims to promote interest and scholarship in scientific and applied aspects of hydrology and to foster the involvement of its members in national and international activities.

Challenger Society

Micropalaeontological Society
The Micropalaeontological Society (TMS) exists "to advance the education of the public in the study of Micropalaeontology" and is operated "exclusively for scientific and educational purposes and not for profit". The Society comprises six specialist groups which study Foraminifera, Microvertebrates, Nannofossils, Ostracods, Palynology and Silicofossils.
